Discover the south of La Palma, Canary Islands, on a unique driving adventure where volcanic landscapes, island history and the thrill of driving an authentic Jeep 4×4 come together to create one of the most memorable experiences in our tour collection.
The tour begins at our meeting point in Mazo (add link to coordinates), where we set off on a guided journey towards the southern tip of the island, travelling through some of La Palma’s most spectacular and representative landscapes.
Our first stop is the picturesque coastal village of La Salemera, a charming little corner of the island where traditional houses meet the Atlantic Ocean, creating one of the most authentic coastal scenes in La Palma. Peaceful and full of character, it offers a different perspective of the island before we continue our adventure towards the south.
We then head towards the Fuencaliente Salt Pans, one of the most iconic and photographed landscapes in the Canary Islands. Here, the centuries-old salt-making tradition blends with the dramatic contrast between black volcanic lava and the Atlantic Ocean, creating a truly spectacular setting and an unmissable stop along the route.
After visiting the salt pans, we continue uphill along the Las Cabras track, a scenic route surrounded by rugged volcanic terrain and offering breathtaking views over the Atlantic Ocean. This section of the journey is where the 4×4 adventure really comes to life, allowing you to enjoy an authentic off-road driving experience in nature while discovering some of the island’s lesser-known landscapes from a completely different perspective.
